Fright Night

Well I was excited for this movie about 2 months before it came out. Then when i looked it up on Google I saw that it was actually a remake of the 1985 Fright Night. When I was visiting my friend in New Mexico
I saw that he had the movie on he's VOD. Sadly I was being distracted because I was excited to see my friends that I only saw bits and parts of it. From what I first saw i thought it was silly. So when I came back up to Canada we got Netflix and i actually watched it. I fell in love with it! So I was excited to see the remake. The way they did the casting was interesting, Anton Yelchin really did play a good Charlie Brewster and David Tennant put an interesting twist on Peter Vincent. I mean they made his character like a Criss Angel mixed with Russell Brand. Christopher Mintz-Plasse was interesting as Evil Ed but I think i love Stephan Geoffreys a little more. But I really did love him when he came back as a vampire.
COLLIN FARRELL! The new Jerry Dandrige! I have to say I love they way he took Jerry. He made him exactly like the original Jerry Dandrige but with a little more creepiness. What surprised me is when I saw that Chris Sarandon was appearing in cameo. Through the movie I was searching for him and then when I saw him I freaked out!! The 3D was also interesting there were times where it was like WHOA and others were like, that was okay. Overall in my opinion I really loved the movie!

The Hangover Part II

Ok, it's been awhile but I went to the movies yesterday with my family and we saw the Hangover 2. I'd just like to say it was halarious! But they did re-use some of the things from the first one. In the end though it was still a funny movie. I've gotta say Alan (Zack Galifinakas) was just as funny as he was in the first one. When Stew (Ed Helms) woke up with the tattoo on his face and later on he found out that he had sex with a girl who was part guy, I couldn't stop laughing! Bradley Cooper did another great job with his character Phil. Oh and when I saw Paul Giamatti's name in the credits i was really curious to see where he was going to come in during the movie. Overall I really liked the movie, but I hope this is the last one because it would be kinda weird to see what they would do with Alan, but you never know.

Piranha 3-D

Still on the subject of horror movies, i just wanna sum up Piranha 3D....

Boobs/Girls

Killer Fish

& GORE!

But it did include Steven McQueen who plays Jeremy from Vampire Diaries. Honestly it was an okay but the only real thing that i loved about it was the gore.

Teeth

Well just last week when i was on spring break i was with my friend and she met up with one of her friends from elementary school and he told my about this movie called Teeth...I'm thinking about watching it but I have to find it first.

Here's the summary:

High school student Dawn works hard at suppressing her budding sexuality by being the local chastity group's most active participant. Her task is made even more difficult by her bad boy stepbrother Brad's increasingly provocative behavior at home. A stranger to her own body, innocent Dawn discovers she has a toothed vagina when she becomes the object of violence. As she struggles to comprehend her anatomical uniqueness, Dawn experiences both the pitfalls and the power of being a living example of the vagina dentata myth.

The Exorcist

Well i hadn't seen this movie in forever and so i found it playing on TV and i decided to record it. Me and my mother watched it together and i forgot some of the creepy scenes that are in it. The part where Regan is

beginning to be possesed and she turns her head and looks at her mother was just awesome. I really give props to Linda Blair for being her age and playing that role, she is just an amazing actress. Well i really want to see the 2nd and 3rd because i haven't seen them yet, but i can't wait! I read on wiki about some of the things that happend during filming and after...that's pretty crazy. And i found out that Jason Miller passed away in 2001 i had no idea. I guess that's just shows my young age. But i have to say this is always going to be a classic horror movie.

The Rite

A couple weeks ago I saw The Rite with a couple of my friends and well I thought it was pretty good. Anthony Hopkins did an amzing job with his character especially when he had to act like he was possesd. It had it's good moments and others weren't as thrilling. Colin O'Donoghue, was a great actor playing his character, Michael Kovak. The plot felt short but i guess that's how the story was told. So I give The Rite 3.5/5
